It is imperative that you know these things:
Texas National Guard (Activated)
If you have TriCare Prime or TriCare Standard.
Typically, once the soldier has been activated, they automatically are enrolled in TriCare Prime, there are advantages and disadvantages to both.
****Additionally, if you have primary insuranse though your employer or spouses employer, THAT insureance is always considered the Primary insurance first.. then secondary would be TriCare. Don't forget to state this, otherwise, the insurance companyw WILL find out and you will end up OWING money back to TriCare. ****
